Mobilizing the Caring Power of Communities:
United Way brings communities together to focus on the most important human needs – building partnerships, forging consensuses and leveraging resources to make a measurable difference.
Mission:
To mobilize the caring power of our community through participation in fundraising, volunteerism, advocacy, education and partnerships for the purpose of improving lives and building a strong and vital Sullivan County. United Way of Sullivan County depends on the kindness and generosity of local businesses and individuals to carry out its mission. Although United Way of Sullivan County is a member of United Way of America, we operate as a private not-for-profit agency and receive no financial support from our national organization or the government. The people who count on us are counting on you!
Community Impact:
United Way of Sullivan County is initiating Community Impact Projects that target some of our toughest problems right here in Sullivan County. It’s our way of making permanent and measurable changes in our community that will have a positive impact on the lives of our residents. For grant applications click here.
